The General Secretary of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Samuel Gyau Oboubi, has reminded children workers that they have power to cause transformation.

He made this revelation on Wednesday July 17, 2024, when speaking on the topic, ‘Unleashing the Transformative Power of the Child Worker,’ during the opening session of the Foundation Builders’ Conference at the Pentecost Convention Centre, Gomoa Fetteh.

Apostle Oboubi indicated that there is power which brings about transformation and that power is referred to as the transformative power of God. Adding that the source of this power is the Holy Spirit.

According to him, when someone receives that power, he becomes an agent of transformation. This is why Jesus Christ asked the disciples to wait until they receive the Holy Spirit, as captured in Acts 1:4.

He noted that the believer who has received this transformative power is adequately clothed. However, the one who has not received the power of the Holy Spirit is naked, meaning he is exposed to several attacks of the world and the devil.

‘A person can be identified by the clothe he or she wears. One of the clothes the Lord expects His children to put on is the power of the Holy spirit,’ he added.

The chief scribe of the church revealed that the transformative power distinguishes the carriers from others.

Referencing Ephesians 1:19, the General Secretary described the transformative power of the Holy Spirit as immeasurable and unlimited.

He indicated that the Holy Spirit is a transformative power because it transforms the life of anyone who encounters it.

‘Not only does it transform the carrier, but it also transforms anyone who encounters the carrier,’ he said, adding, ‘This is evident in how Apostle Paul was transformed from his wicked heart into someone who did the work of God.’

Apostle Oboubi called on children workers to be evangelistic, thus being intentional about reaching out to children with the gospel, not just focusing on the children in their churches but children in the communities they reside.
