of the Other Sheep Ministry (TOSM) of the Church of Pentecost paid a courtesy visit to the residence of the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Dr Usman Nuhu Sharubutu, on January 16, 2026, to convey goodwill and offer prayers for him and his family in the new year.
The delegation was led by Apostle Dr Dieudonne Komla Nuekpe, Chairman of TOSM, who expressed gratitude to God for the peaceful coexistence among Christians and people of other faiths in Ghana. He commended the National Chief Imam for his consistent leadership and commitment to promoting peace, unity, and mutual respect across religious divides, and prayed for God’s continued blessings upon him and all who work with him.
In his response, Sheikh Dr Sharubutu warmly welcomed the delegation and underscored the shared heritage of humanity. He noted that all people belong to one family, tracing their origin to Adam and Eve, and highlighted Abraham as a common patriarch of the Christian and Islamic faiths. He emphasised that diversity is divinely ordained to foster learning and understanding rather than hatred, adding that peaceful living remains a collective responsibility.
Also present at the meeting was Sheikh Aremeyaw Anas, who expressed appreciation for the visit and encouraged nations across the world to emulate Ghana’s model of peaceful coexistence between Christians and Muslims.
Apostle Dr Nuekpe was accompanied by Evangelist Abraham Addae Agyemang, Coordinator of TOSM; Pastor Dr Degraft Issaka Suleman, a National Executive Committee member; and Pastor Mark Mohammed Alhassan, also a member of the National Executive Committee.
The visit reaffirmed the Other Sheep Ministry’s commitment to interfaith dialogue, peacebuilding, and the promotion of harmony in line with the Church of Pentecost’s vision of positively influencing society through love and the message of Christ. To Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, be all the glory.
