The Takoradi Area of The Church of Pentecost, together with the Area Evangelism Ministry, has organised a one-day seminar for the Area’s Aggressive Intentional Discipleship Team (AIDIT) towards the effective implementation of the “One Member, One Discipled Soul” (1M1DS) project.
The Area Aggressive Intentional Discipleship Team is a group of young zealous men and women tasked to primarily spread the gospel of Jesus Christ during organised crusades and rallies held in any part of the Area.
The seminar, which took place at Tanokrom Central church auditorium on Saturday, October 19, 2019, was attended by representatives from all the 23 districts in the Area.
Among other things, the seminar was aimed at equipping the team members to rekindle their love for soul winning and also to reignite their zeal towards personal evangelism in order to snatch many perishing souls from eternal damnation.
The Takoradi Area Evangelism Leader, Pastor Simon Kankam, in a short address, noted that anytime Christians are poised for evangelism, God grants them grace and mighty works unfold.
Topics treated during the seminar included Reaffirming the Gospel, Follow-up and Assurance of Salvation, Understanding the New Birth, Repentance from Dead Works, Water and Holy Spirit Baptism, AROT and Indigenous Ways of Gospel Presentation and Digital Ways of Gospel Presentation.
The facilitators for the seminar were Pastor Michael Norshie (Assistant Area Evangelism Ministry Leader), Elders Henry Sam, Abraham Abam and Deacon Dominic Quarcoo, all in Takoradi Area.
The Takoradi Area has already launched the One Member, One Discipled Soul (1M1DS) project and it is expected that the Lord, through the Aggressive Intentional Discipleship Team (AIDIT) and members of the Church, will lead more souls to His saving knowledge.
