The Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram, Hon. Samuel Nartey George, has commended Apostle Eric Nyamekye, Chairman of The Church of Pentecost, for leading the church to stage one of the most impactful crusades ever held in Ghana.
Speaking on the sidelines of the Greater Accra Unleashed Crusade at the Black Star Square, Accra, on Thursday night [August 22, 2024], the firebrand MP was full of praise for Apostle Nyamekye and the leadership of the church for their selfless commitment to mobilising leaders and young people to the feet of Jesus and shaping the spiritual future of the country.
According to him, The Church of Pentecost has exemplified the Great Commission mandate, which emphasises the importance of going out, evangelising, and spreading the gospel, rather than solely focusing on bringing people to church or remaining comfortable in one’s own space.
Hon. Sam George and other Parliamentarians, led by the Speaker, Right Hon. Alban Kingsford Sumana Bagbin, stormed the Independence Square last night to participate in the mega crusade, which drew thousands of worshippers from all over Accra.
The Greater Accra Unleashed Crusade, spearheaded by the Evangelism Ministry of The Church of Pentecost, took place from Tuesday, August 20, to Friday, August 24, 2024. It was under the theme, ‘Be Reconciled To Him’ (2 Corinthians 5:19).
