Pastor Ernest Wisdom and Mrs Stella Elorm Acquah Worlanyo, the outgone Resident Minister of the Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC), Nkwanta, in the Oti Region, have donated their personal vehicle, a Toyota Highlander with registration number AW 1790 – 21, valued at GH¢ 80,000.00, to the church to be used to advance the kingdom business.
The presentation of the vehicle to the church took place during the farewell service of Pastor Worlanyo and his family held on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at the Nkwanta PIWC auditorium.
Before handing over the keys and documents of the vehicle to the Area Head of Nkwanta, Apostle Seth Dwamena Asante, Pastor Worlanyo mentioned that the family was led to donate the vehicle for use by the church since the church did not have its own vehicle.
Receiving the keys, Apostle Asante, on behalf of the church, thanked the Lord for leading the Worlanyo family to make timely donation. He also appreciated the pastor and his family for allowing themselves to be used of God and for the kind gesture shown to Nkwanta PIWC.
The Area Head mentioned that the vehicle will go a long way to help in the spread of the gospel of Christ and to advance God’s kingdom in the Area.
The entire congregation of Nkwanta PIWC was in awe as they all shed tears of joy and shouted, ‘indeed, great is our Lord God and greatly to be praised.’
Prayers were offered for Pastor Worlanyo and his family by Apostle Seth Dwamena Asante. He wished them well in their new role as Resident Minister for New Tafo PIWC.
Present at the service were Mrs Margaret Dwamena Asante (Wife of Area Head), Pastor Bright Asibuo Agyemang, Overseers Stephen Aduse–Poku and Sulemana Abubakar Diallo, among others.
