The Tepa Area of The Church of Pentecost has inaugurated the newly created Kenyase New Site District at a ceremony held on Sunday, August 29, 2026, at the New Site Central Assembly.
The Kenyasi New Site District was carved out of the Kenyasi No. 2 District as part of efforts to enhance effective pastoral care and support the continued growth of the Church.
The inauguration service also served as a welcome ceremony for Pastor Joseph Eashmon Boham and his family, who have been assigned to provide pastoral leadership for the newly established district.
The new district comprises seven assemblies and is expected to enhance pastoral oversight, evangelism and discipleship while facilitating the advancement of God’s Kingdom in the area.
The ceremony was chaired by the Tepa Area Head, Apostle David Nii Addo-Pappoe, who was supported by his wife and the Area pastorate and their wives.
Delivering the sermon, Pastor Enoch Mensah spoke on the topic, “The Nature of the Church That Christ Is Building.” He emphasised the importance of responding faithfully to God’s call and actively working towards its fulfilment.
According to him, believers who are called by God must understand the purpose of their calling, pay attention to the call, recognise the accountability attached to it, and remain conscious of the reward for faithful service.
Referencing Genesis 17:1, 1 Timothy 4:14–15, 1 Corinthians 9:16–17, and 1 Peter 5:1–4, Pastor Mensah urged the leadership and members of the newly created district to take their divine assignments seriously and serve faithfully and diligently.
He noted that every divine calling comes with responsibility and accountability, stressing that God rewards those who remain faithful in His service.
The inauguration, therefore, marked not only the establishment of a new administrative district but also a renewed call on the leadership and members to commit themselves to fulfilling the Master’s mandate.
The service concluded with prayers and well-wishes for Pastor Joseph Eashmon Boham and his family as they begin their ministry in the newly created Kenyasi New Site District.
