The leadership of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International (FGBMFI) on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, paid a courtesy call on the Chairman of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Eric Kwabena Nyamekye, at the Head Office, La-Accra.

The group led by the National President, Mr. George Prah, comprised Messrs. Emmanuel Mahama (National Vice President, Corporate and External Relations), Frank Acheampong (National Vice President, Conventions and Outreaches), Joseph Ockan  (National Treasurer), Alfred Langdon (National Director, Training), and Nana Abrah Adjei (National Director, Eastern Region).

Others were Kweku Biney (National Director, Operations), Enimil Ashong (National Director, Public Affairs), Sam Mensah (Executive Assistant to National President), and Abraham Asare (General Manager).

The General Secretary of the Church, Apostle Alexander Nana Yaw Kumi-Larbi, and the Director of the Pentecost Men’s Ministry (PEMEM), Apostle Emmanuel Ofei Ankra Badu, joined the Chairman to receive the delegation.

Interacting with the Chairman, the FGBMFI National President congratulated him and The Church of Pentecost on his successful election to lead the Church for the next five years, saying, “The Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International congratulates you, Apostle Eric Nyamekye, on your election by men and elevation by God as the sixth leader of the largest Pentecostal movement in Africa.”

Appreciating the Chairman’s five-year strategic vision for the Church dubbed Vision 2023 (Possessing the Nations), Mr. Prah said that like The Church of Pentecost, the FGBMFI desires a fellowship whose members are taught to see themselves as the salt of the earth and light of the world.

He therefore called for a collaboration between the two respected Christian organisations to forge a strong force in order to influence the Ghanaian society with the Kingdom principles and values. “Together, we can strategize to bring in the last great harvest before the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

“Together, also, we can, through effective teaching and reliance on the Holy Spirit, grow and network our businesses, learn to become better individuals, fathers and mothers and, together, mobilize resources for evangelism.

“Between our two organisations, that is the FGBMFI and the Pentecost Men’s Ministry, we have enough resource persons to expertly handle spiritual, financial, business, family enrichment, individual life roadmap and other relevant issues,” he added.

In response, the Chairman, Apostle Eric Nyamekye, expressed his heartfelt appreciation to them for the visit and welcomed the proposed partnership with them.

The Chairman was of the view that the vision that God has placed on his heart cannot be achieved only by The Church of Pentecost, and that other churches and Christian organisations should buy into it in order to make the right impact in the country.

He called on Christians to rise and take up their rightful positions in the society and influence their world with Kingdom principles and values which include integrity and honesty to turn the world around for Christ.

“I have come to the conclusion that the destiny of the land is in the hands of the Church. We need to pull ourselves together, break all dividing walls and join hands and see how we can transform the land,” he stressed.

The Chairman, who is a member of the FGBMFI, lauded the group’s contribution to the growth of the Christian community, especially among Christian men in Ghana.

The National President decorated Apostle Nyamekye with a Lifetime Membership badge of the FGBMFI and also presented some books to him.

The Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International is the world’s largest Christian business men’s organisation, networking thousands of members – both male and female – including Presbyterians, Methodists, Catholics, Anglicans, Pentecostals, and Charismatics in over 162 nations operating through more than 7,000 local chapters.
