Chairman Speaks At African Pentecostal Missions Consultation Conference In Ethiopia

The Chairman of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Professor Opoku Onyinah, has presented a paper at the African Pentecostal Missions Consultation (APMC) conference which took place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from Tuesday, March 20, to Friday, March 23, 2018.

The Chairman, who spoke on the topic: Africans Response To The Great Commission,” delivered the paper on Thursday, 22nd March, to over 300 Pentecostal delegates from across Africa and the globe.

His presentation touched on: the mandate of the church, mission to Africa, shifts in Christian missions in church history, African’s response to Christian mission, among others.

Prior to the lecture, the Chairman participated in a panellist discussion on the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of Africans response to the great commission on Wednesday, 21st March, at the conference.

Apostle Professor Opoku Onyinah used the opportunity to highlight the missionary enterprise of The Church of Pentecost and espoused the great developments and opportunities to the world through the mission’s work of The Church of Pentecost.

Meanwhile, Apostle Prof. Opoku Onyinah has been appointed as an Executive Member of the Steering Committee of the African Pentecostal Missions Fellowship.

The Chairman was accompanied on the trip by the International Missions Director (IMD), Apostle Emmanuel Gyesi-Addo, who also spoke on the general outlook of the Missions agenda of The Church of Pentecost at the conference.

Missionaries of The Church of Pentecost from the East Africa Regional block were also in attendance.
