It was all joy at the Airport Assembly in the Yennyawoso District of The Church of Pentecost, when Mr. Charles Osei and his wife, Mrs. Rosemond Osei, stood before the congregation to thank God for blessing them with a daughter after 10 years of marriage.
At the naming and dedication service of the baby on Sunday, July 15, 2018, Mrs. Rosemond Osei narrated the ordeal they went through during the trying times.
“At a point, my husband even stopped coming to church, thinking that God had disappointed him,” she said.
Mrs. Osei revealed that several provocations and humiliations, coupled with the pressures from friends and relatives, compelled her to seek assistance from a fetish priest but all proved futile. It rather hindered her from attending church meetings.
She eventually confessed to her Presiding Elder who encouraged her to still trust in the Lord and subsequently prayed fervently for her.
Through continuous prayer by the church, the Lord finally intervened leading to her conception last year and safe delivery on April 15, 2018.
Mrs. Osei was full of praise and gratitude to the Almighty God for the honour done them. She admonished couples who are in search of the fruit of the womb to keep trusting God regardless of how long it would take because He will surely show up at the appointed time.
