The Koforidua Area Youth Ministry of The Church of Pentecost has organised a Business Summit to strategically prepare and nurture the youth to have strong biblical integrity to possess the business field.

The programme, which took place on Saturday, October 26, 2019, was on the theme, “Grounding and Unleashing Young People to Possess the Business Fields.” The event was in line with the broad vision of both the Vision 2023 of the Church and the Youth Ministry.

It was intended to raise a well-motivated army of entrepreneurs, business and corporate giants who will have the spiritual and professional capacity to master their chosen fields and succeed in life and in business.

Participants were taken through a series of presentations on “Integrity in Doing Business in our World Today,” and “Standing before Kings,” among others by seasoned businessmen.

In a presentation, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Supreme Collection – Koforidua, Mr. Richard Maglo, revealed that integrity in doing business is very vital and that no business will stand the test of time if its fountain was not built on integrity.

He defined integrity as a character that makes one stand out in life and in business. Integrity, he said, is the engine that holds and drives the vision and mission of an organisation into reality.

Mr. Yaw Frimpong Tenkorang, an Accra-based ghostwriter, trainer and conference speaker, expounded on the need to stand before kings. To him, God has placed in believers godly intents when well-guided can be nurtured and propel them to the highest level of their businesses. He challenged the participants to do research in their fields and ensure that they excel at the highest level.

The Area Head, Apostle Samuel Osei Asante, in a speech read on his behalf admonished the participants to put into practice what has been shared to help them possess the business arena.

Other speakers at the seminar were Pastor Samuel Yeboah Asare (Area Youth Pastor), Pastor Musa Yahaya (Pentecost International Worship Centre, Koforidua) and Elder Dickson Dziwornu Tawiah (a National Executive Member of the Youth Ministry Business Chamber).

The 205 participants were issued with certificates at the end of the summit.
