The Director of the Evangelism Ministry of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Emmanuel Kwesi Appiah, has urged believers to embrace the transforming reality of Jesus Christ as the Saviour of the world, stressing that a genuine encounter with Him brings total and lasting change.

He delivered this message on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at the Jubilee Park in Tamale during the ongoing Tamale For ChristCrusade, preaching on the theme, ‘We Have Seen Him, Christ the Saviour’ from 1 John 4:14.

Apostle Appiah emphasised that Jesus Christ is the exact representation of God, who came in human form, died on the cross, and rose again in triumph. He stated that Christ alone carries God’s divine accreditation as the Saviour, saying, ‘Jesus Christ was in the nature of God, and when He died, death could not hold Him captive. He is the only One accredited by God as the Saviour of the world.’

Drawing from Acts 10:38, he explained that the presence of God is continually active in the world to bring good to humanity through Christ. He also touched on Matthew 11:11, highlighting the unique prophetic assignment of John the Baptist, whose testimony prepared the way for the revelation of the Messiah.

Apostle Appiah further referenced John 1:45–50, recounting the story of Nathanael, who initially doubted that anything good could come from Nazareth. He noted that just as Jesus saw Nathanael’s doubts and turned them into conviction, Christ still sees the struggles and questions of humanity today and has the power to transform every life. ‘Many great men have lived on this earth, but only Jesus Christ has been credited as the Saviour of the world. When you meet Him, your life will never remain the same,’ he affirmed.

He also drew attention to the Samaritan woman’s testimony in John 4:28, describing how a genuine encounter with Christ propels believers to share their experience with others. Quoting Psalm 103, he reminded the congregation of the manifold benefits from God –forgiveness, healing, restoration, and redemption from destruction.

Apostle Appiah stressed that faith and expectation play a vital role in experiencing the supernatural move of God. He noted that divine manifestation often occurs where believers approach God with expectant hearts. ‘Your expectation will always attract a divine demonstration. When you come to God with faith, He redeems your life from destruction and crowns you with His goodness,’ he added.

He concluded with a strong appeal for total surrender to Jesus Christ, affirming that He alone is the source of true life, healing, and eternal salvation.
