HUM Inaugurates New Sub-Committees, Units & Departments

The Home and Urban Missions (HUM) of The Church of Pentecost General Headquarters, has inaugurated new sub-committees, units and departments in line with the ‘Vision 2028’ strategic objectives of the Ministry.

The inauguration, which was held on Friday, February 16, 2024 during the Home and Urban Missions (HUM) end-of-year meeting, was chaired by Apostle Emmanuel Agyei Kwafo, the Chairman and also the National Coordinator.

In a short sermon, Pastor Victor Asante Darko, a National Executive Committee Member of HUM, and also the Area Head for the Afram Plains Area of the Church read from Numbers 11:17, where he admonished the newly inaugurated Committee/Unit Heads to help carry the burden of HUM which has been entrusted to the National Coordinator. 

The Sub-Committees/Units and Departments inaugurated included the Fulani Ministry, Unreached People Groups, Pentecost Hope Center, Pentecost Teens and Adults Challenge, Internal Migrants, Research and Innovation, Professionals in Critical Mission, Orality, Discipleship, Diaspora, Media, Arts and Sports. Others include the Secretariat, Equipping Centre, Outreach, Literature and the Nation Possessors.

The Leaders and Secretaries of these Sub-Committees/Units and Departments were prayed for, given a charge and unleashed to transform their worlds. 

In attendance were NEC Members of HUM, all HUM Pastors and their wives, as well as Area HUM Leaders from all 77 Areas of the Church in Ghana.
