The Downtown-Ofaakor Area Women’s Ministry of The Church of Pentecost hosted the ‘Complete Woman’ TV series on August 1, 2024.

With an overwhelming attendance, the women fraternity of the area gave a resounding welcome to the Women’s Ministry Director, Deaconess Philomina Mireku, and her deputy, Deaconess Vivian Amfo.

The event, hosted by Deaconess Gloria Amefa Amenyo, discussed the subject, “An Unleashed Woman Living a Flourishing Life Through Personal Devotions.”

Panellists shared their biblical findings, views, and experiences with the audience. They concluded that women have inherent potential to succeed but must be nurtured gradually by daily devotions. Deaconesses Theresa Asiamah, Diana Appiah, Stella Annan and Mrs Salomey Agyei brought a lot of light to the subject under discussion.

The Virtuous Ladies took their turn to discuss the subject, “The Unleashed Virtuous Lady, Maximizing Her Time to Make Maximum Impact.” Their discussion highlighted the need for young ladies to manage their time with discipline. Panel members shared how they routinely manage their time, and the benefit derived.

The discussion was hosted by Deaconess Franca Ewurama Darko. Panel members for this discussion included Deaconesses Mary Opoku, Abigail Essel, Eunice Akoto, and Gifty Darko Ampem.

The Women’s Director, Deaconess Philomina Mireku, on her part, admonished women not to be overly enthused with friendship and spending too much time engaged in gossip.

As part of her closing remarks, Mrs Lucy Dede Edzorhoho (Wife of the Area Head), advised all women not to take devotions lightly but to make it a habit, using her personal experience.

The Area Head, Apostle William Kojo Edzorhoho, encouraged the Virtuous Ladies to use their energies wisely.

Present at the service were ministers and their wives in the area, and the Area Women’s Ministry Leader, Deaconess Christiana Agyare Opoku and her executive committee members.
