The Youth Ministry of The Church of Pentecost (CoP) in Trinidad and Tobago, on Sunday, July 9, 2023, hosted its inaugural annual Bible Bee Competition, aimed at fostering scriptural knowledge among youth.
Under the leadership of Deaconess Cindy Campbell Acheampong, the Youth Ministry Leader, the competition provided a platform for youths to develop their understanding of God’s Word and engage in memorisation exercises.
The contestants were divided into two age categories: 6-10 years and 11-17 years.
The competition witnessed an impressive display of biblical knowledge as young minds engaged in an exhilarating battle for the coveted first-place position in their respective age groups.
The participants demonstrated unwavering dedication and resilience having had only a week preparation time
The judging panel comprised Pastor Dr. Ebenezer Otu-Nyarko(Trinidad and Tobago National Head); Elder Daniel Acheampong (Presiding Elder); and Deaconess Theresa Taitt.
Following a gripping showcase of biblical prowess, Zion Acheampong emerged victorious in the 6-10 age category, while David Asante claimed the top spot in the 11-17 age category, both deserving winners who showcased their deep understanding of the word of God.
