The Pentecost Ministers’ Children and Associates (PEMSCA) on May 1, 2019, visited and donated some items to children of the Potters Village Orphanage at Dodowa in the Greater-Accra Region as part of the this year’s May Day (Workers Day) observance.

The items, worth GHS 3000.00, included beverages, milk, tin tomatoes, oil, mackerels, washing powder, diapers, baby food, detergents, rice and Bibles.

The visit, which was themed “Possessing The Nations With Love” (John 14:28), was spearheaded by Deacon Justice Kotoku (Welfare Committee Chairman).

As part of the visit, the PEMSCA group socialised with the children and encouraged them to take their education seriously. The also stressed the need for them to put their trust in Christ Jesus for a better and glorious future both in this life and the next.

The Potters Village Orphanage currently houses 144 orphans of different age groups. The orphanage is financially handicapped and finds it very difficult to meet the basic needs of the children and to support their education.

The leadership of the orphanage, who were delighted by the donation made by the group, also called on other benevolent individuals and groups to come to the aid of the home.
