The Obuasi Area of The Church of Pentecost, headed by Apostle Martin Seth Appiah, is organising a maiden summit dubbed, “Strategic Consultative Summit on Pending Critical Issues.”

The summit, which is to be held at the Pope John Paul II Formation Centre in Ofoase Kokoben in the Ashanti Region, is scheduled take place from Thursday, 17th to Sunday, 20th May, 2018. In attendance shall be 300 participants comprising the pastors, church officers and members in the Area.

The event, among other things, shall look at the low participation of members during Lord’s Supper and Midweek church services, high illiteracy and poverty levels in the Area and the prevalence of sexual immorality, resulting in adultery, pre-marital sex and teenage pregnancies.

It also intends to discuss the causes, consequences and adopt strategic solutions as the way forward to either eliminate or minimize these challenges in the Area.

The summit shall witness presentations on various topics. After each presentation, group discussions shall be held and each group shall thereafter present their findings. It is believed that the various findings would go a long way to positively impact the Church as a whole.
