The Women’s Ministry of the Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC), Odorkor, has successfully held the third edition of its annual “Starting SHS Right” programme aimed at preparing newly admitted senior high school students for academic and spiritual excellence.

The event, which took place on Saturday, October 11, 2025, brought together dozens of young students to receive guidance, counselling, and prayer support as they transition into senior high school.

Participants benefited from a variety of impactful sessions, including an intensive prayer time for divine direction, guidance and counselling on academic and social life in senior high school, and a health talk focusing on wellness and personal hygiene. Female students also underwent breast cancer screening to promote early detection and prevention.

As part of the initiative, the beneficiaries received essential academic items to support their studies.

The “Starting SHS Right” programme, a flagship initiative of Mrs. Florence Pipim, wife of the Resident Minister, continues to make a difference in the lives of young people each year. Notably, this year’s edition also witnessed the salvation of two souls, adding a spiritual highlight to the impactful event.

Present at the event were Deaconess Grace Asante, the District Women Ministry Leader, members of the executive committee, and other facilitators who played key roles in the success of the programme.
