A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between PENSA International and Jospong Group of Companies on Friday, January 19, 2024 at the Pentecost Convention Centre, Gomoa-Fetteh.

The MOU aims to provide internship opportunities for PENSA members to work with local and international organisations under the Jospong Group.

PENSA International is the global network of Pentecost Students and Associates, a ministry of The Church of Pentecost that seeks to mobilise students and young professionals to expand the Kingdom of God and establish PENSA campuses around the world.

Jospong Group of Companies is one of the most diversified holdings companies in Ghana with operations in other African countries and Asia. The company has business interest in about 14 sectors of the economy with its biggest operations in Waste management, ICT, and Banking as well as Automobile and Equipment.

The signing ceremony was graced by the Youth Ministry Director of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Ebenezer Hagan, who expressed his appreciation to the Jospong Group and its founder, Eld. Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyepong, for offering to nurture undergraduate students from all over the world who are looking for internship places.

He said that this would create a space for innovative ideas and produce a generation of young professionals who would touch the world with their skills and talents.

He also pledged his commitment to make the partnership sustainable and beneficial to both parties.

The PENSA International Coordinator, Pastor Kofi Boakye, also thanked God and Dr. Siaw Agyepong for making the vision a reality.

He said that PENSA International was born out of the expectation of students to be mobilised to bear the frontier of the church’s possessing the nations agenda.

He said that the PENSA International internship and professional program would launch a vision that would start with the Jospong Group, but would not be limited to it. He invited every like-minded corporate group to join the venture, where working professionals would offer their services around the world on a pro bono basis.

He urged interested individuals to visit “www.pensainternational.org” for details on how to sign up.

The MOU was signed by Apostle Ebenezer Hagan and Dr. Siaw Agyepong, representing PENSA International and Jospong Group respectively.

The ceremony was witnessed by other dignitaries from the church and the company.
