The Obuasi Area of The Church of Pentecost has donated assorted items worth GH¢20,000.00 for distribution to members in deprived communities in the Afram Plains Area of the Church.
Donating the items on Monday, June 29, 2020, on behalf of Apostle William Boakye Agyarko (Obuasi Area Head), the Obuasi Area Missions Committee Chairman, Pastor George Brobbey, said that the gesture was part of the Area’s contribution towards the work of missions in the Afram Plains Area.
“It is our hope that this gesture will bring glory to God and also motivate beneficiaries to joyfully serve the purpose of God in the church’s quest to possess the nations,” he stated.
The items include 15 push bicycles, 1 power generator, 93 pieces of wax prints, 24 pieces of ladies wear, 4 lace materials, 9 pair of trousers, 7 ‘T’ shirts, 10 pair of men’s shoes, 4 pairs of canvas, 3 pairs of children’s sandals, 12 pairs of bathroom sandals, 8 pairs of ladies’ slippers, 2 men’s wear (boubou), 3 men’s shirts, 3 pieces of African wear, 6 men’s suit, among others.
The Area Head for Afram Plains, Pastor Victor K. Asamoah, who received the donation, expressed his joy and appreciation to Apostle William Boakye Agyarko and the Obuasi Area for the kind gesture.
Present at the presentation ceremony were Mrs. Rebecca Asamoah (wife of Afram Plains Area Head), Pastor Joseph Ndanyinanseh (Area Secretary) and ministers and their wives in Donkorkrom zone of the Afram Plains Area.
