The Tema Area of The Church of Pentecost, under the leadership of Apostle Mathew Larbi Wettey, has successfully ended this year’s Lay Leadership Training School for all officers in the Area.
The training programme was held concurrently in the three zones within the Area, namely Tema, Prampram and Kesseh. It was held in two sessions: morning and evening in English, Ga Dangbe and Twi.
The five-day event which started on Monday, August 13, 2018 ended on Friday, August 17, 2018 at the Tema branch of the Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC).
Pastor Benjamin Offei-Badu, Resident Minister of Tema PIWC, on behalf of the Area Head urged the participants to implement what they have learnt in their respective local assemblies to enhance the spiritual and physical growth of the Church.
Among the topics treated are: Baptism, Gifts and Fruit of The Holy Spirit, Creation Care, Effective Assimilation Structures, and Monitoring and Coaching the Next Generation.
The Lay Leadership Training School is an annual programme which seeks to equip officers in the Church with the requisite knowledge, basic skills and principles to enable them to shepherd the flocks that have been entrusted to their care.
