The Church of Pentecost’s PENSA Cape Coast Sector recently organized a two-day residential retreat for leaders in Tertiary and Pre-tertiary institutions, themed “Unleashed to transform your campus through the power of the Holy Spirit” (Acts 1:8). The event took place at the Cape Coast Technical University PENSA auditorium on December 5-6, 2025.

The summit was officially opened by Pastor Blessing Joseph Quayson, PENSA Travelling Secretary for the Sector, who emphasised the importance of godly character in transforming campuses. He urged leaders to be filled with the Holy Spirit, be resolute in standing for Christ, and be visionary, hardworking, and teachable.

Other speakers included Pastor Benjamin Asare, Resident PENSA Campus Pastor for UCC, who stressed the importance of personal devotion, and Elder Dr Isaac Mbir Bryant, who encouraged participants to excel academically by building a personal library and selecting dedicated friends.

Elder Evans Addo Darko, Sector Outreach Coordinator, emphasised the need for moral living, citing biblical standards, while Elder Bismark Afrifa, Sector Finance Secretary, educated participants on church finances and the importance of transparency.

Pastor Patrick Ayertey, Area Secretary of Cape Coast, spoke on the transformative power of the Holy Spirit, leading participants in intensive prayers and impartation. The Sector Head, Dcn Frederick Kojo Aidoo Mensah, presented on the PENSA Discipleship Program (PDP), and Mrs. Esther Mansa Quayson encouraged participants to prioritise their academic and spiritual lives.

The retreat drew 193 students from various institutions, including Cape Coast Nursing and Midwifery Training College, Ankaful Psychiatric Nursing Training College, and Cape Coast Technical University, among others.
