The Director of the Pentecost Men’s Ministry (PEMEM), Apostle Emmanuel Ofei Ankra-Badu, attended the 47th Cadet Officers Course of the Ghana Police Service which took place at the Police Academy, Accra in December, 2017.

The PEMEM Director was welcomed by the Chaplaincy of the Course, made up of George Abrefa, Daniel Kofi Ahadzie, Emelia Pomaa Kwakye-Amoafa, Leticia Afful Quaye, Emmanuel Amaning Kwarteng, Florence Sackey-Clarke, Joseph Ali Bawa, Mavis Adjie and Noble Deegbe.

The course saw the training of 132 Cadet Officers of the Ghana Police Service.

In his presentation, Apostle Ankra-Badu cautiously advised the officers to learn how to accept responsibilities for their own actions in both private and public lives.

Speaking on the topic, “Taking Responsibility” based on Luke 10:24-37, he said people of character are responsible; they accept the burden of doing what they can, not because they are being paid but simply because it is their moral obligation to do so.

The PEMEM Director further explained that responsibility carries a sense of duty, diligence, excellence, perseverance, and initiative, saying, “Responsibility carries a sense of accountability.”

This, he explained, is when one fails to take responsible for his/her actions or inactions, but tries to shift blame to something in the past or someone else.
