The Church of Pentecost, Oforikrom District, in collaboration with the Ministry to Persons with Disabilities (MPWDs), has donated essential items worth GH₵20,000 to two special needs institutions in the Bompata Area. The donation, comprising food and toiletries, was presented to Life Community Special Vocational School and Garden City Special School, as part of the Church’s commitment to compassionate ministry and community transformation.
Pastor Ebenezer Ahuakese, representing the Oforikrom District, emphasised the Church’s dedication to meeting both spiritual and physical needs, highlighting the partnership with MPWDs as a demonstration of its commitment to inclusivity and extending Christlike love to individuals with diverse abilities.
Authorities at the beneficiary schools expressed gratitude for the support, acknowledging the financial burden of caring for children with special needs. They commended The Church of Pentecost for recognising these challenges and responding generously, calling for continued collaboration to ensure the well-being and development of the learners.
The presentation ceremony was attended by MPWDs officials, District leaders, and church members, reflecting the Church’s commitment to serving vulnerable groups and promoting community welfare. This initiative underscores The Church of Pentecost’s mission to demonstrate God’s love through practical actions, impacting lives and transforming communities.
