The Church of Pentecost’s Home and Urban Missions (HUM) recently hosted its maiden French Conference, bringing together 182 francophone members from six Assemblies in the Kumasi Sector. The event, held at PIWC Asokwa on December 5, 2025, was themed “The French Church Unleashed to Transform Their World.
The conference was made possible through the efforts of Apostle Peter Kofi Dzemekey (Asokwa Area Head), Apostle Emmanuel Agyei Kwafo (HUM National Patron), Pastor Benjamin Ofei-Badu (HUM National Coordinator), Pastor Gabriel Owusu Akyaw, and Elder Dr Lawyer Ken Aboah (Trustee of the church). The gathering was attended by foreign nationals from Togo, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Cameroon, Madagascar, and other countries.
Pastor Alex Oppong, Asokwa Area Secretary, shared a message from Revelations 7:9-10, inspiring the congregation to remain faithful. Overseer Dr Vincent Anohene Appiah (HUM Minister, Resident Minister-PIWC- Agogo) expounded on the HUM Concept, and Pastor Gabriel Owusu Akyaw emphasised the importance of fellowship and unity among brethren.
The conference featured prayers, presentations, and joyful interactions, with participants expressing utter joy and enthusiasm. The event marked an unprecedented gathering of francophone saints in the Ashanti Regional HUM fraternity, demonstrating the power of unity and love.
The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment to transform their world, as the French-speaking saints continue to unleash their potential in the House of the Lord.
