Mrs Moreen Adjoa Yeboah Adjei Agbodzah, who fellowships with the ]Burma Camp Worship Centre of The Church of Pentecost has been blessed with the fruit of the womb after 17 years of marriage.
At the naming ceremony of the baby girl (christened Eyram Adep Edem Agbodzah), held on June 17, 2018, Mrs Agbodzah recounted the pressures she and her Catholic husband, Staff Sergeant Justice Edem Agbodzah of the Recce Regimen, Burma Camp, endured during the waiting period.
She said during this period she went through all the needed medical procedures prescribed for assistance to no avail. After years of resoluteness and fervent prayers, she conceived last year and by grace safely delivered on April 25, 2018.
Moreen expressed gratitude to God for remembering her when all hope was lost. She also thanked her husband for not giving up on her in spite of all the pressures.
Mrs Agbodzah also thanked the Resident Minister, Apostle (Major) Benjamin Godson Kumi-Woode, and his wife, Mrs Victoria Kumi-Woode, the presbytery and the entire church membership for their prayers and encouragement during the trying times.
Speaking in an interview after the event, the couple encouraged couples in similar situations not to lose hope, but trust God and keep hope alive.
