Two top officials of the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) have been sacked in Australia.
According to viral media reports, the two officials (names withheld) could be questioned by Australian authorities for their roles in the visa fraud that has led to some Ghanaians being detained.
More than 70 Ghanaians have been detained in Australia over visa fraud.
Last Monday, over 50 Ghanaian journalists were deported from Australia. The Australian authorities claimed they weren’t convinced by the journalists’ reasons for traveling to Australia for the Commonwealth Games which started yesterday, April 4th.
