The Chairman of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Professor Opoku Onyinah, and the International Missions Director (IMD), Apostle Emmanuel Gyesi-Addo, arrived at the J.F.K Airport in New York on Wednesday, October 11, 2017, to begin a two-week working visit to the Americas.

They were welcome on arrival at the airport by the Regional Heads of the Church in the United States of America.
As part of the visit which ended on October 24, the Chairman dedicated the newly purchased National Office Complex, inaugurated the Pentecost Bible College and the Pentecost Music Family Group, all in the U.S.A. He also visited the Central Americas, precisely Guatemala and Honduras, where the Church has open new branches.
On October 12, Apostle Prof Opoku Onyinah held a meeting with all the Regional Heads in the U.S.A. He commended their hard work and admonished them to keep on fighting the good fight of faith.

The next day, he met with all ministers and their wives in the nation. Addressing them, he commended the leadership of the Church in the U.S.A for conceiving the vision to relocate the National Office from the Bronx, New York to Wayne, New Jersey, and also moving the Pentecost Bible College from Leominster, Massachusetts to Wayne, New Jersey in a record time of eight months.

He also commended all past and present National Heads of The Church of Pentecost U.S.A for their relentless efforts in making the Church a formidable force in the country. He also acknowledged the significant strides the Church in the U.S.A has made in sending the message of the cross to South America and the progress it is making on the continent.
He also expressed the Missions Board’s appreciation to the Church in the U.S.A for its significant contributions in support of the missions’ activities.

In a sermon on the theme, “Zipporah, the Virtuous Woman Behind Moses,” Apostle Prof. Opoku Onyinah elaborated on how the Lord used Zipporah and her family to shape and fulfil the ministry of Moses. He also pointed out that those who speak against the anointed of the Lord would incur His wrath, referring to the jealousy of Miriam and Aaron of their brother Moses.

He stated: “Sometimes people closest to you will be the very ones who would want your downfall.” He, therefore, encouraged ministers to be vigilant and always seek the face of the Lord in all situations.
Later on Friday evening, the Chairman inaugurated the Pentecost Music Family Group.

On Saturday, October 14, Apostle Prof. Opoku Onyinah inaugurated the Pentecost Bible College and commenced the conferral of degrees to the first batch of graduands of the STEE programme, who graduated with Bachelor of Arts in Theology and also the Ministerial Formation students who graduated with Diploma in Theology and Pastoral Studies.
The Chairman, at the climax of the programme on Sunday, October 15, dedicated the state-of-the-art multifaceted National Headquarters building located at 1450 Valley Road, Wayne, NJ 07470. The building houses the National Office, the Bible College, PENT TV, PENT Radio, the PENT Media Studios, and the Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC) model Church, which is named Rehoboth Temple.

He revealed how Jesus Christ placed Simon Peter in a position regardless of his shortcomings and how Christ strengthened and equipped him. Relating it to the congregation, he stated that the Lord has placed them in various positions and has equipped them for a task regardless of their shortcomings. He admonished them to strengthen one another in their weaknesses because the Lord had strengthened them to strengthen others.
