The Agona Swedru Area of The Church of Pentecost has donated building materials worth GH¢ 7,000 to the Osamkrom Prison Camp, near Agona Swedru in the Central Region.

The items which include iron sheets, wood, nails and bent rods, were presenting to the facility on Sunday, 22nd April, 2018.

In a brief address, the Area Head, Prophet David Kankam, advised the inmates to turn a new leaf after they have gone through the prison life.

Centering his advice on the question: “Why are you here?” Prophet Kankam used Zacchaeus in the Bible as an example of someone who needed a change in his life, hence the effort to look for the Saviour Jesus Christ.

Receiving the items on behalf of the camp, CSP Justice Asumah thanked The Church of Pentecost for the kind gesture. He said the donation will go a long way to help ease congestion in the camp.

Present at the ceremony were: Pastors Justice Appiah Afful, Thomas Agbeke, Overseers Kissi Adjabeng, Benjamin Addo Boateng, Elder Samuel Akoi-Som (Area Deacon) and Elder Christian Arthur (Area Estate Committee Chairman).
