To the glory of God, the year 2025 marks another milestone in the life of The Church of Pentecost. Guided by the theme “Unleashed to Live a Life Worthy of Your Calling” (Ephesians 4:1; 1 Thessalonians 4:7; Galatians 1:24), the Church continued to pursue the Vision 2028 agenda—“Possessing the Nations: Equipping the Church to Transform Every Sphere of Society with the Values and Principles of the Kingdom of God.”

The year under review saw the Church make remarkable progress in evangelism, membership growth, social transformation, leadership development, and infrastructural expansion. The Church of Pentecost remains a spiritually vibrant, socially responsible, and mission-minded institution, positively impacting lives across Ghana and 189 other nations.

| HEADQUARTERS ADMINISTRATION

As of December 2024, the Church had a total of 486 non-ministerial staff members on its official payroll. This included 247 employees at the Area Offices and 239 at the Head Office. The workforce increased by fifty-six (56) new hires, while thirteen (13) employees retired during the reporting year.

| MEMBERSHIP ANALYSIS GROWTH

  • Membership Growth Analysis – Worldwide

By December 2024, The Church of Pentecost had established its presence in 190 countries worldwide, including Ghana. The Church had a total membership of 4,827,074, reflecting a 6.4% increase from the previous year. This growth is less favourable compared to the 7.9% growth observed in 2023.

  • Membership Growth Analysis – Ghana

The Church in Ghana reported a total membership of 4,129,412, which accounts for 85.5% of the global membership. Conversely, the Church’s international branches contributed 14.5% to the overall membership, resulting in a total of 697,662 members.

The data analysis highlights that youth members, comprising 46.0% of the Church’s membership, represent the largest segment. Additionally, children account for 30.5% of the membership, while members aged 35 and older comprise 23.5%. As of December 2024, the combined membership of children and youth within The Church of Pentecost comprised 76.5% of the total membership. This significant demographic insight should continue to guide the activities and programmes we implement at all levels of the Church.

  • Membership Growth Analysis – External Branches

To the glory of God, the number of nations where The Church of Pentecost operates outside the shores of Ghana increased from 169 to 189 during the reporting period. Twenty new nations were added in 2024, representing an 11.83% growth.

These nations are Antigua and Barbuda, Aruba, Belarus, Bhutan, Brunei, Bulgaria, the Cayman Islands, Dominica, Jersey, Martinique, Mayotte, Myanmar, Slovenia, Somaliland, Suriname, St. Martin, the Kingdom of Tonga, Vanuatu, Western Sahara, and Yemen.

| EVANGELISM & CHURCH PLANTING

  • Worldwide Analysis

As of December 2024, the Church had reported a total of 27,106 Assemblies and 3,183 Districts worldwide. This marks a 2.2% increase in Assemblies and a 4.3% rise in Districts compared to the previous year. We attribute this remarkable growth to the grace of God.

  • Ghana Analysis

53 new Districts were created during this period, increasing the total number of local Assemblies in Ghana to 19,795 and the total number of Districts to 1,759 as of December 2024.

Furthermore, by the grace of God, three new administrative Areas were created (Elmina, Salaga, and Amrahia), bringing the total number of administrative Areas in Ghana to eighty.

  • External Missions Analysis

As of December 2024, the total number of Assemblies in the external nations stood at 7,310, an increase of 1.6%; and the number of Districts was 1,424, also representing an increase of 5.9%.

| INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS

At the end of the 2024 reporting year, the number of nations in which the Church was operating, aside Ghana, had increased from 169 in the previous year to 189.

  • Field Personnel

The total number of ministers in the Missions field rose from 1,021 in 2023 to 1,308 in the reporting year, reflecting a 28% increase. Additionally, the number of missionaries grew from 116 in 2023 to 188 in 2024, amounting to a 62% increase in percentage terms.

The total number of ministers called to Missions in 2024 was thirty-seven (37), while eighteen (18) missionaries were recalled to their various home countries.

| INFRASTRUCTURAL DEVELOPMENT

The Church disbursed various grants, including Headquarters grants, CBCB/UACB grants, newly created Area and District grants, and other grants, to the Areas, Districts, and Assemblies for infrastructural development.
