What Is Repentance

Matthew 3:1-2, Luke 15:17

EXPOSITION
Repentance simply means to be sorry for or regret past wrongs, to seek forgiveness, and be committed to change for the better. Whenever one has to repent then it means one has done the wrong.

The prodigal son was sorry for his sins and was ready to seek forgiveness and live a better life.

LESSON LEARNT: Repentance leads to a better life.

Dear Lord, deliver me from the path of sin. Amen.

Dear Lord, deliver me from the path of sin. Amen.

And you will perish, too, unless you repent of your sins and turn to God. Luke 13:3b (NLT) AMEN
