EXPOSITION
The disciples received power according to Acts 1:8a, “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you.”
When they were filled with the Holy Spirit, they began to speak in other tongues. They were thus enabled by the Holy Spirit to preach the gospel and manifest spiritual gifts.
The Holy Spirit gives utterance to everyone who receives Him. As you have received the Holy Spirit today and His gifts, be ready to do exploits.
LESSON LEARNT: When we desire the fullness of the Holy Spirit, we receive it. The Holy Spirit gives power and gifts. Expect an encounter with Him from today.
