We give glory to the Lord for seeing us through to the end of the week and preparing to usher us into another week. Throughout the week, we discussed the topic, “the Spirit-Controlled Temperament”. We looked at the four temperamental traits which include choleric, sanguine, phlegmatic and melancholic. Each temperamental trait has its own strengths and weaknesses. We realized that the more we desire to satisfy the desires of the flesh, the more the weaknesses in our temperamental traits show up.

It also became clear that we must allow the Holy Spirit to work in us and we will be able to overcome such weaknesses. May the Spirit of the Father, whom He has given to us as a seal of redemption, continue to work in us so that we shall not gratify the desires of the flesh! Don’t be dominated and defined by either a choleric, sanguine, melancholic or phlegmatic but rather be refined by the spirit controlled temperament in Jesus’ name.
