Throughout the week, we have learnt about activating our gifts. The gifts are special endowments given by the Holy Spirit for the common good of the church. For the gifts to be activated, you must first get to know what you have by consulting the giver, who is the Holy Spirit. You must also allow yourself to be mentored and guided by Spirit-filled mature Christians so that you will use your gifts rightly. Joining the right association and fellowship helps to set your mind on God so that your
gifts can be sharpened and put into use.

Learn to actually put your gifts to use and do not allow anyone or anything to be a limitation to you, so that your gifts can continually flourish. Be ready to subject yourself to prayer, fasting and the study of the Word to sharpen the deposits of the Spirit in you. May the Lord be your help and cause your gifts to be constantly sharpened and be in use.
