This week by the grace of God we touched on the beauty of obedience. We learnt that obedience means submission to God’s authority and His representatives here on earth. Parents/elderly are a blessing from God and as such we must obey and show them respect.
Christianity thrives on obedience, therefore, partial obedience is no obedience at all. Partial obedience equals disobedience to the highest level.
Jesus has set the perfect example for us with regards to obedience. He obeyed to the point of death, thus bringing us salvation. To be able to remain in this gift of salvation, we must live in obedience to His word.
