SO FAR THIS WEEK

Throughout the week, we have been looking at the faithfulness of God. We learnt that to be faithful means to be safely trusted, reliable and dependable. God’s faithfulness is kept in His word. We also learnt that God is true to His Name, true to His Character and true to His word. God will not do anything that will put His name, His character and His word into disrepute. In his book,

The Attribute of God, A.W. Pink states that “Everything about God is Great, vast and incomparable. He never forgets, never fails, never falters, never forfeits His word”. This gives us full assurance that God will not fail us when we put all our trust in Him. In 1 Thessalonians 5:24, the Bible states that “He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it” God keeps His covenant for generations.

His faithfulness towards us is for generations.

As part of His moral attributes, God expects that His children also inculcate the attitude of faithfulness in all their dealings. Inasmuch as we are trusting God to be faithful to us, we must also be faithful to everyone. In our homes, at our workplaces, in our relationships, and in our relationship with God Himself, we must exhibit faithfulness.

Prayer Guide: Pray as you are led.
