Over the week, we have learnt about the profitability of the Holy Scriptures. We saw that the Holy Scripture provides spiritual truth in doctrine; reproof in showing our imperfections; correction by revealing our sinful failures; and instructions in living a righteous life. There’s not a more valuable tool than God’s Word to make us fully equipped for spiritual Revival and personal growth.
The Holy Scripture we also learnt builds and strengthens our faith as Christians and provides a lamp to our feet and a light to our path, even as it seeks to dispel every form of darkness. Our study during the week revealed that God’s word is the supreme, the final source and the standard of truth. It is through the Holy Scriptures that we are able to confront and overcome the many challenges of life. Thus, the Word of God is a thorough equipping tool that meets the need of the believer spiritually, physically, emotionally and in all other areas of the Christian life.
