This week, you have learnt about proper planning, and you now know that to become relevant in life, it is very necessary to have a proper plan for your Christian, academic, social and all other facets of your life. Your plan should be well written down and, if possible, shown to a mentor. It is only through proper planning that your goal, strength, weaknesses and challenges could be well known in order to be victorious in the end.

You have also learnt that you are a child of God and you have the Spirit of God in you, so you can pursue extraordinary but attainable goals. You have also learnt that the God-factor in your planning is very important. So, to make Him the centre of your plan, you must speak to Him by praying, allowing the Holy Spirit to guide you and finally studying the Word of God to know whether your plan is in alignment with His word. Again, you have learnt that you need to have a holistic plan so that you will be able to live a life of integrity, have a strong sense of security, be a master of your plans and ultimately please God, for a false balance is an abomination to the Lord.

Also, being self-disciplined will help you to be committed to your plans and ultimately help you courageously achieve your goals. Finally, you have learnt that periodic assessment of the activities towards your goals will not only help you achieve your plans successfully, but also help you to develop a very good attitude towards tasks, to be prompt and proactive, and avoid procrastination and unpleasant surprises
