EXPOSITION
When sin separates one from God, only repentance and believing in Jesus Christ can bring one back to God. If one refuses to come back to God, then eternal punishment awaits such a person. Eternal punishment is eternity in the lake of fire.
The Bible says that he that is born of Christ does not keep sinning – (1 John 3: 9).
Therefore, if you keep sinning , then you are not a child of God and thus your name will not be found in the book of life but the lake of fire.
