EXPOSITION:

We have learnt from the previous lessons that, having been saved by God through the death and the resurrection of Jesus Christ, one has to live a new life in Christ. This new life in Christ must grow to a level where all who see you can easily testify that indeed you are a new person in Christ.

Apostle Paul in 1 Thessalonians 2:11-12 admonishes the Church to live lives worthy of God, who calls them into His kingdom and glory. This must therefore be a lifestyle of the Kingdom of God. In living a new life of the Kingdom, one must bear fruit of the Kingdom.

In Matthew 21:43 the Bible says “Therefore I tell you that the Kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit”. From this Jesus says that the Kingdom would belong to those who produce its fruit.

LIFE APPLICATION:

Since we are created by God, we are also made for His Kingdom and its lifestyle. What kind of lifestyle are you living? The fruit of the Kingdom lifestyle among others are: love, joy, peace, goodness, righteousness and truth. Our responsibility as people of God’s Kingdom is to live as Christ Himself did.
