Exposition

When we accept Jesus as our Saviour and Lord, it means that we are saying “yes” to His ways and His plans for our lives. Part of that is sharing the life-changing grace of Jesus with those around us. This is called evangelism. We should share the love and the joy we have in Christ to those around us. Sharing the joy we have in Christ, is a way of sharing our faith in Jesus. Sinners are our clients and we must be naturally nice and friendly to them in order to bring them to Christ.

In Proverbs 17:22a “ A cheerful heart is a good medicine ”. The gladness of our heart and our cheerful faces will make sinners feel better when they meet us. Though life may not be all that easy, but we have been called to live a cheerful life always. Our conversation should always be full of grace and joy as said in Colossians 4:6.

Let us use this to our advantage and influence them for Jesus by sharing our joy with them. our words sprinkled with kindness and gentleness will draw people to us instead of repelling them. It may feel unusual to do something nice to someone who hates you, but it is the best time to do it. How do you treat people? Are your words seasoned with grace and joy? Remember, the more we share what we have, the more we save other people’s life. We have been called to save lives.
