Exposition
All of us can sometimes experience a crisis of faith from time to time. Where do we go that our faith might be strengthened? A strong and vibrant faith in God is exercised through the regular study of His word. Spending quiet time in Scripture has a way of fortifying our faith against doubt and fears.
The Word of God remains the only source of divine revelation and power that can sustain us as Christians in our walk with God. The level of our faith is dependent on how connected we are with the Word of God. The Holy Scripture reveals who God is, His attributes, His greatness, His promises, His plans, His will, etc. The word of God answers all questions in life; therefore, constantly feeding on His word will increase your faith in Him. Faith is critical to the Christian journey – “but without faith, it is impossible to please God, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him” (Hebrew 11:6).
You can please God if your faith in Him is solid. You can diligently seek the Lord through His word. Do you lack faith or is your faith growing weak? Then get back to the Bible, study it, meditate on it, and communicate to God through His word.
