Repentance (The Prodigal Son)

LUKE 15:17-20

EXPOSITION
The Prodigal son came to his senses and decided to return to his father.
He came to a turning point in his life where all he wanted was to be just a servant in his father’s house. He accepted that he had wronged his father and was ready to go and admit it and plead for forgiveness.

In the same way, a Christian living in sin must come to his senses and decide to go back to God his father. Without this, you cannot genuinely repent. This week, you will be learning a lot about repentance which plays a key factor in salvation.

LESSON LEARNT: Do not give excuses for your wrongs. Accept them and seek forgiveness.

Lord Jesus, I repent from my sins and I ask you to forgive me. Amen.

And you will perish, too, unless you repent of your sins and turn to God. Luke 13:3b (NLT) AMEN
