Have you ever seen someone eating on behalf of another?
Such is Repentance. No one can repent for you.
After Jonah told the people the judgement of God because of their sins the people of Nineveh themselves decided to repent. They could have decided to ignore Jonah and God’s message.
Jonah did not force them; they willingly decided to seek God.
LESSON LEARNT: No one can force you to repent. It’s a personal decision.
