EXPOSITION:
Christ in His last and greatest commission to His disciples tasked them to “Go and make disciples of all nations…” (Matthew 28:19). Every believer is included in this commission. Since we have honoured God’s invitation by coming to Him through Jesus (Matt. 22:4), we must honour his commission “GO”. Christ tasks us to go into ‘All Nations’ and Social Media is not an exception. Social media “houses” not less than 2 billion of the world’s population making it a great nation that needs to be discipled.
Social media is now a global space where cultures converge. It is an educational centre, a market, a business centre, an entertainment centre, amongst others. It has become an essential part of our human lives which cannot be overlooked. Unlike its onset where it was treated as a peripheral part of life, it has now established itself as a centre for global activity.
God’s word must be preached and taught on social media so that souls shall be won and intentionally disciple those who are and have believed the message of the cross.
