EXPOSITION:

Precious one, I don’t know what you are going through and how life is treating you, but there is one thing I am pretty sure about and very confident. That, Christ is your victory in life. The assurance is that once you are of God, you are an overcomer because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. John goes further to say that ‘for whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world’ (1 John 5:4). Born of God here means all those who have believed that Jesus Christ is the son of God.

Christ lives in you by His Spirit and because of this; you have been taken out from the realm of the flesh to the realm of the Spirit. His Spirit deposited in you is His very strength and power he has bequeathed unto you to exercise. To this end, I commend you to submit to the prayer Paul prayed for the Ephesians, “that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love.”

Beloved, from today have a total conviction that you are an overcomer and nothing in this world can restrain you, if Christ lives and works in you.
