EXPOSITION
The Jews were the ones who were privileged to have salvation first. The Gentiles received salvation after the death of Jesus. Most of the Jews believed salvation was meant for only them and not the Gentiles. The Romans were Gentiles, and such was Cornelius. Although a gentile, he was a devout man who feared God. When God sent Peter to preach the salvation message to him, he got his entire family ready to receive Peter.
He wasn’t concerned about his salvation alone but that of his entire family. Be like Cornelius.
LESSON LEARNT: Be concerned about the salvation of your family members.
