EXPOSITION
Peter had just said that he would die with Jesus if it became necessary. Yet, he could not stay awake for Him. Jesus was expecting His disciples to be active in prayer in order to prepare them for the challenge ahead.
You need to stay alert in prayer in order to be conscious of what God wants you to do. Remember, prayer was the only option for the disciples to stay awake. You can accomplish God’s purpose when you pray.
