TOPIC: SO FAR THIS WEEK.

EXPOSITION:

 We are so grateful to the anchor of our faith for preserving us throughout the week. It has really been an amazing week where  we took a critical look into our closet lives. The closet life is where we actually make a conscious effort to know God for ourselves. We looked at indicators to check our closet life. We can never win in this  life without having to build a strong private life which has a spiral effect on our public life.

We looked at building a personal prayer life (where as youths we would make a radical decision to spend time to pray at least an hour each day). Prayer is actually praying. We must endeavour to practically practice it. Start small but be consistent.

Again, we saw that for us to overcome the challenges of life, we must  approach the Word of God right. It becomes the basis and benchmark  for acting upon matters. We cannot bargain with the Word- it is final in everything it says and has the answers to all of life’s challenges and questions. We critically looked at developing a fellowship with the Helper. In our closets we must have an unflinching passion for God. Our love for God isn’t divided on any grounds. Then we took time to look at mastering our minds and taking the right heart decisions. We said sin emanates from the heart therefore we must be very careful. Your mind is the battle ground therefore youth in Christ  be on guard by guarding your heart. We cannot achieve much if we  aren’t intentional about allocating time to grow spiritually. Decide to  make a resolution as you journey on in your walk with God. You are  stronger than you think.
