The Yendi Area Head of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle William Kojo Edzorhoho, on Friday, April 13, 2018, dedicated the Kukpong Assembly Community Based Church Building (CBCB) in the Chereponi District.
The Kukpong Assembly was established in February 2014 by Brother Nampari B. Samuel through personal evangelism with 25 new converts, during the time of the then District Minister, Pastor Eric Abeiku Quainoo. The assembly worshipped under tree till the construction of the building.
Speaking on the topic, “Prepare a Dwelling Place for the Lord” based on 2 Chronicle 6:1-11 and Exodus 25:8, Overseer David Arthur of the Gnani District, advised believers that they are the temple of the Living God and must therefore keep themselves pure.
He added that God hates sin and loves righteousness. “In order to live a righteous life we must allow Him to take dominion over our life,” he stressed.
Apostle William Kojo Edzorhoho, in his remarks, encouraged Christians to have a change in character because they are the temple of the Most High God.
He commended the Chereponi District Minister, Overseer Noah Sinsah Dari, the officers and members for the good work done.
Present at the dedication ceremony were Mrs. Lucy Dede Edzorhoho (wife of the Area Head) and the pastorate in the Area. Also present to grace the occasion was the chief of Kukpong, Npoujom Naasah.
