EXPOSITION
A mighty king sent his servants to retrieve and bring back some precious treasure that has been taken away by his enemy.
As he sent them away, one went for a party, another went for a funeral, and the rest to their various works. They never did the assignment given to them by their king. Will the king be happy or angry with his servants?
From the Bible reading, if a Christian does not preach the gospel to save a soul, God will not be happy with him. Do not forget the command Jesus gave, “Go into the world to preach the gospel to all creation.”
If you want to be a good servant of Jesus then preach the gospel.
LESSON LEARNT: God will not be happy with me if I do not evangelize. Therefore, I will preach the gospel to everyone.
